Ewent 1,0 m Cat6 UTP-netwerkkabel grijs 1 m U/UTP (UTP)

The Ewent 1.0m Cat6 RJ-45 U/UTP networking cable is a 1-metre grey patch cable designed for wired Ethernet connections supporting 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks. It provides stable data transmission up to 1000 Mbit/s and uses RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to maintain conductivity and resist corrosion. The U/UTP construction reduces external electromagnetic interference for reliable performance in small office and home environments.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable delivers gigabit data rates suitable for typical LAN and internet connections. The RJ-45 gold-plated connectors improve contact reliability and longevity. The U/UTP cabling technology minimizes crosstalk and interference without additional overall shielding, keeping the cable flexible and easy to route in tight spaces. The 1 m length and neutral grey colour make it convenient for short runs between devices such as switches, routers, PCs and networked peripherals.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, gaming consoles and smart TVs to a router or switch
• Patch panel to switch or wall outlet short connections
• Home and small office wired networks requiring gigabit speeds
• Temporary setups where a short, reliable Ethernet link is needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Supported network standards: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Data transfer rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Cabling type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with unshielded overall braid)
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into a router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the clip clicks to establish a secure connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends and kinks in the cable and keep it away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as unshielded power transformers or heavy-duty motors.

Recommendations

For stable gigabit performance, use this Cat6 cable for connections no longer than its 1 m length between network devices. If routing near potential interference sources, consider alternative cable paths or additional shielding at endpoints. Regularly inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if contact issues or visible wear are observed.
