Excentrische schuurmachine Bosch GEX 125 125 mm 290 W – excentrische afwerkschuurmachine

The Bosch GEX 125 is a 125 mm random orbital finishing sander with a 290 W motor designed for finishing and smoothing wood, paint and other surfaces. It provides random-orbit sanding action that reduces swirl marks and delivers even results for precise surface preparation. Observe safety warnings and avoid use near flammable materials.

Advantages

The random orbital movement minimises visible sanding marks while the compact 125 mm sanding pad allows access to smaller surfaces and edges. The 290 W motor offers a balance of power and control suitable for both DIY and professional finishing tasks. Dust extraction compatibility helps maintain a cleaner work area and prolongs abrasive life.

Suitable for

• Sanding and finishing wooden surfaces
• Preparing painted surfaces for repainting
• Smoothing fillers and putty
• Light to medium finishing work in workshops and on-site

Key specifications

• Sanding pad diameter: 125 mm
• Motor power: 290 W
• Action type: random orbital (eccentric) movement
• Abrasion pattern: reduced swirl marks for even finish
• Dust extraction: compatible with extraction systems or vacuum

How to use

Attach the appropriate 125 mm abrasive disc, connect dust extraction if available, and switch on the sander. Move the tool steadily over the surface with light to moderate pressure, keeping it flat and in continuous motion to avoid creating grooves. Change abrasive grit progressively from coarse to fine for successive stages of preparation and finishing. Always follow the manufacturer's safety instructions and ensure the workpiece is securely fixed.

Recommendations

Do not use the sander near flammable materials. Wear appropriate eye, hearing and dust protection when sanding, and use recommended abrasive grits for the material and stage of work.
