EXERTIS CONNECT HDMI-adapter bus naar bus, passieve koppeling, 4K 60Hz, verguld, zwart (EXC128289)

When a single HDMI cable falls short, this passive coupler from EXERTIS CONNECT bridges the gap without signal degradation. Unlike active repeaters that require power, the EXC128289 simply joins two standard HDMI cables end-to-end, preserving the original signal integrity for runs up to a combined length that respects HDMI 2.0 specifications. It’s a straightforward, reliable solution for extending existing installations, wall-mounted displays, or tight equipment racks where replacing a long cable is impractical.

Highlights

• Female-to-female HDMI Type A coupler: connects two standard HDMI cables securely.
• Passive design: no external power, no drivers, true plug-and-play.
• Supports full HDMI 2.0 bandwidth: up to 18 Gbps, 4K Ultra HD at 60 Hz.
• Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and ensure optimal contact.
• Compact black PVC housing blends into any setup.

In daily use

Imagine you have a projector mounted on the ceiling and an HDMI cable already routed through the wall. It’s just a bit too short to reach your media player. Instead of pulling new cable, snap this coupler onto the existing cable’s end and add a short extension. The connection remains stable, with full support for HDR10, HLG, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, and even eARC for advanced audio setups. Because it’s passive, there’s no latency, no heat, and nothing to configure. It’s equally useful in conference rooms, home theaters, and digital signage where HDMI cables need to be joined cleanly.
