How to use

Connect the drive to an available USB port on your desktop or laptop using the integrated USB cable. The operating system should detect the device automatically on supported Windows versions; if necessary, wait for driver installation to complete. Insert a CD or DVD into the tray to read files or run installation media. After use, safely eject the disc using the operating system's eject function before removing the disc from the tray.

Recommendations

Use on a stable surface and avoid sudden movements while a disc is spinning. Store the drive and its built-in cable in a dry place and disconnect it when not in use. For optimal performance, connect to a USB 3.0/3.1 port; the drive is backward compatible with USB 2.0 but may operate at reduced transfer speeds.
