Externe 4G LTE rondom antenne QOLTEC 15 dBi met SMA-aansluiting

External 4G LTE omnidirectional antenna QOLTEC 15 dBi with SMA connector is an outdoor antenna designed to enhance mobile broadband reception for routers, modems and gateways that support LTE. With a high directional gain of 15 dBi and an omnidirectional radiation pattern, the antenna captures signals from all horizontal directions, helping to extend coverage and stabilize connections in areas with weak or fluctuating reception. The antenna uses a standard SMA connector for compatibility with many consumer and industrial communication devices and is intended for fixed mounting on walls, poles or other outdoor structures.

Advantages

The antenna provides a balance of high gain and broad azimuth coverage, which improves download and upload rates while reducing signal drops. Its omnidirectional design removes the need for precise aiming, simplifying installation and alignment. Constructed for outdoor use, the antenna housing is weather-resistant and suitable for prolonged exposure to environmental conditions. The SMA connector ensures compatibility with a wide range of LTE routers and modems that accept external antenna inputs.

How to use

Mount the antenna outdoors at a location with clear access to the horizon, such as on a roof edge or pole, to maximize reception. Connect the antenna to the router, modem or gateway using the SMA connector or an appropriate adapter or cable if required by the device. Ensure the mounting bracket and fasteners are securely tightened and the cable entry points are sealed to prevent water ingress. After installation, check the device’s signal indicators and, if available, perform a speed test or signal-level measurement to confirm improved reception. Minor adjustments to the mounting height or position may further optimize performance.

Recommendations

For best results, place the antenna as high as practicable and clear of large obstructions such as dense foliage or metal structures. Use low-loss coaxial cable and quality connectors to minimize signal attenuation. Verify device compatibility with SMA-type external antennas before installation and follow local regulations for outdoor antenna placement.
