Hypertec 532472-HY USB-kabel USB 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) 5 m USB A zwart

The Hypertec ProConnectLite USB 3.0 A extension cable (5 m) is a black USB A‑to‑A data cable designed for extending connections between computers, peripherals and hubs. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also referred to as USB 3.1 Gen 1) with a maximum theoretical data transfer rate of 5 Gbit/s and features nickel‑plated contacts for improved durability.

Advantages

The cable provides a 5‑metre reach to connect devices at a distance while maintaining USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds up to 5 Gbit/s. USB A connectors on both ends make it compatible with standard A‑port devices, and nickel‑plated contacts increase contact longevity and resistance to corrosion. The black colour offers a neutral appearance suitable for office and home setups.

How to use

Plug one USB A connector into the host device (PC, laptop or hub) and the other into the peripheral or extension point. Ensure connectors are fully seated to establish a reliable data connection. For best performance, avoid tight bends or kinks in the cable and route it away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

For maximum throughput, connect devices that support USB 3.2 Gen 1 on both ends; when used with USB 2.0 or 1.1 devices the connection will operate at the lower protocol speed. Do not exceed the cable’s intended mechanical stress limits—avoid sharp bends and heavy tension to preserve performance and connector integrity.
