Hypertec 850819-HY Netwerkkabel geel 2 m Cat6 F/UTP (FTP)

The Hypertec 850819-HY 2m Cat6 F/UTP networking cable is a 2-meter Ethernet patch lead designed for reliable data transmission in home and office networks. Built to Cat6 specification with F/UTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this cable supports higher bandwidth and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded alternatives. The bright yellow jacket improves visibility for cable management and quick identification within structured cabling installations.

Advantages

This Cat6 F/UTP cable provides consistent performance for gigabit Ethernet and other high-bandwidth applications thanks to its Category 6 construction. The foil-shielded, overall screened design helps protect signal integrity in environments with potential external interference. Terminated with standard RJ-45 plugs, the cable is compatible with routers, switches, network cards and patch panels, offering plug-and-play convenience. The 2-meter length balances reach and neatness for desk-to-equipment connections.

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into a router, switch or patch panel port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until a click is felt to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and avoid running it parallel to power cables where possible to minimize interference. The cable requires no additional configuration and is ready for immediate use with standard Ethernet hardware.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance, avoid kinking the cable and maintain bend radii greater than the cable diameter. When installing multiple cables in bundles, ensure adequate ventilation and space to reduce heat buildup and interference; use the yellow color for easy labeling and identification within structured cabling.
