The CUC Exertis Connect 225124 USB Type-A is an optical mouse with a vertical ergonomic form designed to reduce wrist strain during extended use. It connects via a USB Type-A cable and offers five physical buttons plus a scroll wheel for conventional navigation and quick command access. The optical movement detection ensures accurate pointer control across typical office and home desk surfaces, while the black finish provides a neutral, professional appearance.

Advantages

The vertical design supports a more natural hand posture to help minimize pronation and wrist pressure compared with standard flat mice. Optical tracking delivers consistent cursor response without the need for a special surface. Five buttons, including primary click, secondary click, middle click via the scroll wheel and two additional side or function buttons, enable efficient workflow and shortcut mapping. How to use

Connect the mouse to an available USB Type-A port on your computer; the device is recognized by most modern operating systems and requires no additional drivers for basic functionality. Place the mouse on a flat surface or mouse pad, position your hand to rest naturally on the vertical body, and operate the primary and secondary buttons for clicking, the scroll wheel for navigating pages, and the additional buttons for assigned shortcuts or browser navigation. Adjust pointer speed and button assignments through the operating system settings if needed.

Recommendations

For ergonomic benefit, rest your forearm on the desk and allow the vertical shape to maintain a neutral wrist angle. Use a quality mouse pad to ensure consistent optical tracking. If additional button configuration is required, change settings in your OS or supported software to map the extra buttons to preferred functions.
