Externe harde schijf Silicon Power 2TB USB 3.2 Armor A80

The Silicon Power Armor A80 is a 2TB portable external hard drive in a compact 2.5" form factor with a black finish. It combines a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.1 Gen 1) interface for fast data transfer with a rugged housing that includes shock-absorbing silica gel, meeting US military MIL-STD-810F transit drop test standards. The drive is designed to offer comprehensive protection against water, pressure, vibration and dust while providing reliable storage performance for large files and HD video.

Advantages

The Armor A80 provides military-grade shock protection through an internal silica gel layer that acts as a bumper, and it successfully passed the MIL-STD-810F transit drop test from 3 meters. It is rated IPX7 waterproof for immersion up to 1 m for 30 minutes, pressure-resistant up to 300 kg, vibration- and dustproof. The drive includes a built-in cable-carry feature for convenient storage of the USB cable and uses SuperSpeed USB 3.1 Gen 1 (USB 3.2 Gen 1) connectivity to deliver high read/write speeds.

Keep the cable stored in the cable-carry compartment when transporting the drive. After use, safely eject the drive from your operating system before disconnecting to avoid data corruption.

Recommendations

For long-term data integrity, use the Armor A80 on stable surfaces and avoid exposing the drive to prolonged submersion beyond IPX7 limits. Regularly back up critical data to an additional storage location and safely eject the drive before disconnecting. Use the USB 3.2 Gen 1 port on your computer to achieve optimal transfer speeds.
