How to use

Connect the Lenovo PS8S Portable SSD to a compatible host device using the supplied USB-C to USB-C cable. The drive uses a USB 3.2 Gen 2 interface for optimal transfer speeds; actual performance depends on the host system, operating system, and workload. If the host device does not recognize the drive, reformatting may be required—follow the operating system instructions and back up any data before formatting.

Recommendations

For best sustained performance, avoid continuous heavy read/write operations immediately after a full format and use a host device that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2. Keep regular backups and consider reformatting the drive if compatibility issues occur with specific operating systems.
