How to use

Charge the battery in a compatible Canon charger before first use. Insert the battery into the camera or camcorder until it locks into place. Monitor the camera’s battery indicator during use and replace or recharge when the indicator shows low charge. Follow the camera manufacturer’s instructions for battery handling and charging.

Recommendations

Store the battery in a cool, dry place and avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures. Use the original or certified chargers to maintain battery life. If the battery will not be used for a long period, store it with a partial charge (around 40–60%) and check it periodically.
