EXTRALINK LAN-patchkabel Cat.8 U/FTP 2m 40G plat, afgeschermd, folieafgeschermde paren, koper, wit

For high-density setups where round cables snag and tangle, this flat Cat.8 patch cord lies flush against walls, under carpets, or through cable channels without adding bulk. It pairs a slim profile with genuine 40 Gigabit throughput, so you don't have to trade speed for neatness. The unshielded outer jacket keeps the cable light and flexible, while each twisted pair is individually foiled to block alien crosstalk in noisy switch rooms or server racks.

Highlights

• Cat.8 performance with 2000 MHz bandwidth for 40GBASE-T links up to 30 m
• Flat construction prevents kinks and makes the cable easy to route along baseboards or under doors
• Bare copper conductors (not CCA) ensure stable PoE delivery and long-term signal integrity
• Gold-plated RJ45 contacts resist corrosion and maintain low contact resistance over repeated insertions
• Backward compatible with Cat.7, Cat.6a, Cat.6, and Cat.5e networks

In daily use

Use it to connect a high-speed NAS, 10G/40G switch, or gaming PC where a flat cable helps keep the workspace tidy. The white jacket blends into light-colored walls and desks, and the 2 m length covers most patch panel-to-device runs. Because the cable is U/FTP, it remains thinner and more pliable than fully shielded S/FTP alternatives, yet the foil around each pair still suppresses interference from adjacent cables in a crowded patch bay.
