Extralink oprolbare LED-hondenriem 5 m met zijlicht

Extralink Retractable LED Dog Leash 5 m with Side Light combines a 5-meter retractable tape with an integrated front LED flashlight and independent side RGB lighting to increase visibility during walks. The automatic retraction keeps the leash tidy while the robust housing and 360° rotating clip provide reliable operation for everyday use. The leash is designed for owners who need extra illumination and safe, controlled walking for dogs up to 30 kg.

Advantages

The built-in LED flashlight delivers a broad, focused beam that lights the path ahead and increases visibility to others, removing the need to carry a separate torch. Independent RGB side lights enhance 360-degree visibility, making both owner and dog easier to spot from the sides and at a distance. The housing is made from durable materials, the clip rotates freely to prevent tangles, and the quick-lock mechanism lets you stop the tape at any required length instantly.

Suitable for

• Evening or low-light urban walks.
• Walks near roads or in areas with vehicle traffic.
• Owners who prefer integrated lighting instead of a separate flashlight.
• Medium and many large breeds up to 30 kg.

When it may not be suitable

The leash supports dogs up to 30 kg; it may not be suitable for heavier breeds or very strong pullers where a leash rated for higher loads is required. Also, if you require a waterproof or submersible light system for use in heavy rain or water activities, this product’s lighting is intended for typical outdoor conditions and not for prolonged immersion.

Key specifications

• Retractable tape length: 5 m.
• Integrated front LED flashlight with wide beam.
• Independent side RGB LEDs for lateral visibility.
• Maximum recommended dog weight: 30 kg.
• Housing with 360° rotating clip.
• Quick-lock mechanism to fix tape length.

How to use

Hold the leash housing in one hand and allow the tape to extend as your dog moves away; the automatic retraction will keep the tape taut when the dog returns. Use the quick-lock button to stop the tape at the desired length and release it to resume retraction. Switch on the front LED for forward illumination and activate the side RGB lights independently when you need improved visibility from the sides. Attach the clip securely to the dog’s collar or harness and check the clip rotation to ensure freedom of movement and prevent tangling.

What to consider before purchase

• Dog weight and strength—suitable up to 30 kg; choose a stronger leash for heavier dogs.
• Intended walking conditions—lighting improves visibility but is not rated for prolonged immersion.
• Preferred control style—retractable tape offers freedom but may be less suitable for strict short-leash control.

Recommendations

For best results, use the front LED on dark paths and enable side RGB lights near roads or when passing other pedestrians. Regularly check the clip and tape for wear and keep the battery charged or replaced as recommended to ensure consistent illumination during evening walks.
