Fietsbagagedragertas TOPEAK MTS TrunkBag EX – bevestiging op bagagedrager, compact volume

TOPEAK MTS TrunkBag EX is a compact rear rack-mounted storage solution designed for everyday cycling and light touring. The bag mounts to MTS-compatible rear racks and offers a secure, easily accessible compartment for tools, spare tubes, small personal items and cycling accessories. Constructed for regular use, it balances capacity and low profile to preserve bike handling while keeping essential items organized on the ride.

Advantages

The trunk bag combines durable materials and a straightforward mounting system to ensure reliable attachment and long service life. Its compact design minimizes interference with passenger or pannier clearance and keeps weight centered over the rear axle. Multiple pockets and internal organization support quick access to tools and spares while reflective details improve visibility in low light conditions. The bag’s weather-resistant construction helps protect contents from light rain and road spray.

Suitable for

• Commuting and city cycling where compact storage is needed
• Short touring or day trips requiring tools and spares
• Riders who prefer rear rack storage instead of saddlebags
• Transporting small personal items such as wallet, phone and keys

Key specifications

• Capacity: compact volume suitable for tools, spare tubes and small items
• Construction: durable, weather-resistant fabric with reinforced seams

How to use

Attach the trunk bag to an MTS-compatible rear rack following the bag’s mounting hardware instructions, ensuring the bag is centered and securely fastened. Organize tools and spare parts inside the internal pockets to prevent shifting during the ride; place frequently used items in external or easily reachable pockets. Check fastenings before each ride and adjust straps or quick-release clamps as needed to eliminate movement. For wet conditions, place sensitive items in protective pouches or the innermost compartment to reduce exposure to moisture.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect mounting points and fabric for wear; clean the bag with mild soap and water and allow it to dry before storage. Avoid overloading beyond the bag’s compact capacity to maintain bike balance and secure attachment. Use reflective accessories and position heavier items closest to the rack to improve handling.
