Fietshelm FISCHER Urban Plus Brooklyn S/M — polycarbonaat buitenschaal, EPS-binnenschaal

The FISCHER Urban Plus Brooklyn S/M is a bicycle helmet designed for everyday urban riding. Featuring a hard polycarbonate outer shell and an EPS foam liner, this helmet balances protection and lightness to support comfortable commuting and city cycling. The design focuses on practical head protection for riders who need a reliable, simple helmet for daily use.

Advantages

The polycarbonate shell provides durable surface protection against abrasion and impacts while the EPS liner absorbs shock energy to reduce the force transferred to the head. The helmet’s lightweight construction reduces neck strain during longer rides, and the streamlined urban shape fits common cycling positions in traffic. Simple adjustment and a compact profile make it easy to store and to carry when not in use.

Suitable for

• City commuting and short urban trips
• Leisure rides on paved paths and bike lanes
• Errands and multimodal transport with occasional carrying
• Daily use by adults preferring a compact, practical helmet

Key specifications

• Shell material: polycarbonate outer shell
• Impact liner: EPS foam for energy absorption
• Size: S/M (suitable for a range of adult head circumferences)
• Design: urban/commuter profile with compact shape
• Weight: lightweight construction for reduced strain

How to use

Place the FISCHER Urban Plus Brooklyn helmet squarely on the head so the front edge sits just above the eyebrows. Fasten and adjust the retention system and chin strap so the helmet feels snug but comfortable; you should be able to fit one or two fingers between the strap and the chin. Check that the helmet does not tilt excessively forward or backward and that the side straps form a V-shape just below the ears. Inspect the fit before each ride and re-adjust the straps or retention system as needed.

Recommendations

Use the helmet for everyday urban cycling and replace it after any significant impact or after visible damage to the shell or liner. Clean the helmet with mild soap and water; avoid aggressive chemicals and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when storing. Follow local safety regulations and always fasten the chin strap while riding.
