Fietshelm FISCHER Urban Plus Chicago S/M — polycarbonaatschaal, EPS-voering, maat S/M

The FISCHER Urban Plus Chicago S/M bicycle helmet combines a polycarbonate outer shell with an EPS impact-absorbing liner to provide compact, reliable head protection for urban and commuting cyclists. Sized S/M for a medium fit, this helmet is engineered to meet everyday safety needs while maintaining a low-profile appearance. Adjustable retention and ventilation features deliver an improved fit and airflow for short trips and daily rides in the city.

Advantages

The hard polycarbonate shell offers robust protection against abrasions and minor impacts while keeping the helmet lightweight. The EPS liner absorbs impact energy to reduce the risk of head injury in the event of a fall. An adjustable retention system enables a secure, customized fit, and integrated vents support passive cooling during rides. The helmet’s compact design preserves visibility and is suitable for use with hoods or caps commonly worn in urban settings.

Suitable for

• City commuting and short urban rides
• Leisure cycling and errands
• Transport to work or school
• Multimodal travel where compact, stowable protection is needed

Key specifications

• Shell material: polycarbonate outer shell
• Liner: EPS impact-absorbing foam
• Size: S/M (designed for medium head circumferences)
• Retention: adjustable rear retention system for a secure fit
• Ventilation: integrated vents for passive airflow
• Weight: compact construction for reduced bulk during urban use

How to use

Place the helmet on your head so it sits level and covers the forehead without tilting backward. Adjust the retention system until the helmet feels snug but comfortable, and tighten the chin strap so two fingers can fit between the strap and your chin. Make sure the vents are unobstructed and periodically check the fit during the ride. Inspect the helmet before each use for visible damage; replace the helmet if it has been involved in a significant impact.

Recommendations

For optimal protection, replace the helmet following a severe impact or if you notice cracks, dents, or compressed foam. Clean the shell and straps with mild soap and water, avoid solvents, and store the helmet away from direct sunlight and extreme heat to preserve materials and performance.
