Fietshelm FISCHER Urban Plus Miami maat L/XL polycarbonaatschaal EPS

The FISCHER Urban Plus Miami Size L/XL Polycarbonate Shell EPS helmet is designed for urban cyclists who need a larger fit and reliable impact protection. The helmet combines a durable polycarbonate outer shell with an EPS foam liner to absorb energy in the event of a collision. Its styling and construction focus on everyday commuting and leisure rides, offering a balance between comfort, coverage and safety for city use.

Advantages

The polycarbonate shell provides robust surface protection against abrasion and light impacts while the EPS liner reduces peak forces transmitted to the head. The L/XL sizing accommodates larger head circumferences for a comfortable, secure fit. Ventilation channels improve airflow to help regulate temperature during rides, and the adjustable retention system enables fine tuning for stability. The helmet’s construction aims for a straightforward, low-maintenance solution suitable for daily cycling.

Suitable for

• City commuting and urban riding
• Leisure and recreational cycling
• Riders requiring a larger helmet size (L/XL)
• Short-distance trips and multimodal transport with bike segments

Key specifications

• Shell material: polycarbonate outer shell
• Liner material: EPS (expanded polystyrene) impact-absorbing foam
• Size: L/XL — designed for larger head circumferences
• Ventilation: integrated vents and internal airflow channels
• Fit system: adjustable rear retention for a secure fit
• Weight: designed for everyday wear with attention to comfort and balance

How to use

Place the helmet on the head so the front edge sits just above the eyebrows and the rear covers the back of the skull. Use the adjustable retention system to tighten the helmet until it feels snug but not constrictive, and fasten the chin strap, ensuring it forms a V-shape under each ear. Adjust the strap length so two fingers fit between the chin and the strap. Before each ride, check that the helmet is securely fitted and that vents and straps are undamaged.

Recommendations

Replace the helmet after any significant impact even if no visible damage is present, and follow local safety standards for helmet care. Clean the helmet shell and straps with mild soap and water and avoid solvents or abrasive cleaners. Store the helmet in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to preserve the materials and fit performance.
