Fietshelm FISCHER Urban Plus Miami S/M — polycarbonaatschaal, EPS-binnenschaal

The FISCHER Urban Plus Miami S/M bicycle helmet combines a polycarbonate outer shell with an EPS energy-absorbing liner to deliver basic impact protection for urban riders. Sized S/M for a closer fit, the helmet is designed for everyday commuting, short city trips and casual cycling. Its lightweight construction and standard ventilation support comfortable wear during routine use while preserving essential safety features expected from a protective helmet.

Advantages

The polycarbonate shell provides durable surface protection and resistance to minor abrasions, while the EPS liner helps absorb and distribute impact forces. The S/M sizing ensures a snug fit for a range of head circumferences, improving stability during rides. Lightweight materials and a streamlined profile reduce rider fatigue and blend functional safety with urban styling. Standard ventilation channels offer passive airflow to help maintain comfort on short to medium-length rides.

Suitable for

• Daily commuting and travel in urban environments
• Short leisure rides and errands
• City bike sharing and multimodal transport trips
• Casual cycling where basic impact protection is required

Key specifications

• Outer shell: molded polycarbonate for surface durability
• Inner layer: EPS foam for energy absorption
• Size: S/M for smaller to medium head circumferences
• Weight: lightweight construction for reduced fatigue
• Ventilation: standard vents for passive airflow
• Fit system: adjustable retention for a closer fit
• Intended use: urban and commuter cycling

How to use

Place the helmet on the head so that it sits level and low on the forehead, covering the upper part of the forehead without tilting backward. Adjust the retention system and side straps to achieve a snug, stable fit; the helmet should not move excessively when you shake your head. Fasten the chin strap and adjust it so that it fits comfortably under the chin with enough room to insert one or two fingers. Inspect the helmet before each use for visible damage, cracks or compressed foam, and replace the helmet if it has been involved in an impact.

Recommendations

Use the helmet for urban commuting and short rides where basic protection is appropriate. Regularly check strap adjustment and the integrity of the shell and liner. Clean the helmet with mild soap and water and avoid solvents or hot drying to preserve materials. Replace the helmet if it shows signs of damage or after a significant impact.
