HJC CALIDO Size S is a unisex cycling helmet designed for adults with head circumferences between 51 and 56 cm. The helmet uses in‑mold construction to combine a molded outer shell with a shock‑absorbing EPS liner, delivering a compact and lightweight protective solution weighing approximately 280 g. It features four ventilation holes for airflow, a 5‑step SELFIT™ fitting system with an adjustable buckle clasp for secure retention, and a clean design without a visor, offered in purple.

Advantages

The in‑mold construction provides a close, low‑profile fit while keeping the helmet lightweight. The integrated SELFIT™ 5‑step adjustment enables precise sizing and quick on‑the‑go changes for a consistent fit. Four ventilation openings allow basic airflow for urban and recreational cycling without adding complexity. The buckle clasp secures the helmet simply and reliably, and the compact size S fits head circumferences from 51 to 56 cm.

How to use

Place the helmet level on the head so it sits low on the forehead without tilting backward. Adjust the SELFIT™ 5‑step fitting system until the helmet feels snug and stable; use the buckle clasp to fasten the chin strap and tighten the straps so they form a Y position around each ear. Ensure the helmet does not move excessively when you shake your head and that the front edge remains approximately two finger widths above the eyebrows. Check fit and buckle security before each use.

Recommendations

Use this helmet for everyday cycling, commuting, and recreational rides. Replace the helmet after any significant impact and follow local regulations on protective headgear. Regularly inspect the shell, straps, and fit system for signs of wear or damage and ensure the size S (51–56 cm) matches the rider's head circumference before purchase.
