Fietshelm HJC CALIDO PLUS CHAMELEON — maat M (55–59 cm), 350 g, magnetisch vizier, 4 ventilatieopeningen

HJC CALIDO PLUS CHAMELEON is a unisex in-mold cycling helmet in size M designed for head circumferences 55–59 cm. The helmet weighs 350 g and integrates a 5-step SELFIT™ adjustable fit system, a removable magnetic visor and a magnetic clasp. With four ventilation openings and an in-mold shell construction, this model balances low weight, protective integrity and everyday comfort for recreational and commuter cyclists.

Advantages

The in-mold construction fuses the outer shell with impact-absorbing foam to provide reliable shock management while keeping the helmet light. The SELFIT™ 5-step adjustment allows precise centering and tensioning for a consistent fit across the specified head circumference. A removable magnetic visor offers quick attachment and detachment without tools, and the magnetic clasp simplifies fastening and unfastening. Four vents provide airflow to help regulate temperature during moderate efforts.

How to use

Position the helmet so it sits level on the head, covering the forehead without tilting back. Use the SELFIT™ 5-step adjustment to set the internal cradle to a snug but comfortable tension, and adjust the side straps so they form a V just below the ears. Attach the magnetic visor if required by aligning it with the mounting points and allowing the magnets to engage. Fasten the magnetic clasp under the chin and check that the helmet does not move excessively when you shake your head. Before each ride inspect the shell and straps for damage and ensure the fit remains correct.

Recommendations

Check the fit of the helmet before each use; replace the helmet after any significant impact or if you notice cracks, deformations or compromised retention components. Clean the helmet with mild soap and water and avoid solvents or hot drying methods. Store the helmet away from direct sunlight and high heat to preserve materials and fit adjustments.
