Fietsszadel FISCHER R.E.Med met memory foam, ergonomisch design, model 85680

The Bicycle Saddle FISCHER R.E.Med with Memory Foam, Ergonomic Design, model 85680 is a trekking saddle engineered to improve riding comfort for daily commuting and longer tours. Its memory foam layer adapts to body shape, helping to reduce pressure points while the ergonomic profile supports a stable and natural riding position. The saddle is compatible with standard seat posts and is intended for use on trekking and commuter bicycles where enhanced comfort and prolonged support matter.

Advantages

The memory foam padding conforms to the rider’s anatomy for even pressure distribution and long-ride comfort. The ergonomic shape maintains pelvic alignment and reduces unnecessary movement, contributing to a more stable posture on varied terrain. The saddle’s outer cover is designed for durability and ease of cleaning, while standard rail fittings simplify installation on most bikes. The combination of supportive padding and ergonomic shaping makes this saddle suitable for frequent riders seeking reduced discomfort on multi-hour rides.

Suitable for

• Trekking and touring rides
• Daily commuting on city and hybrid bikes
• Long-distance leisure cycling
• Riders seeking pressure relief and improved seating stability

Key specifications

• Padding type: memory foam layer for adaptive cushioning
• Design: ergonomic profile to support natural riding posture
• Compatibility: fits standard bicycle seat post rails
• Use case: trekking and commuter bicycle applications
• Cover: durable, easy-to-clean surface material

How to use

Install the saddle by mounting the rails onto a compatible seat post clamp and adjust fore-aft position and tilt to achieve a comfortable knee angle while pedaling. Start with a neutral, slightly nose-up or level tilt and make small adjustments while testing on short rides to find the preferred setting. Periodically check rail bolts and seat post clamp torque to ensure the saddle remains secure. For maintenance, wipe the cover clean with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight when the bike is parked.

Recommendations

Use break-in rides of moderate duration to allow the memory foam to conform to your sit-bone shape, and adjust saddle height and tilt for optimal pedaling ergonomics. For wet-weather riding, consider a protective saddle cover to extend the life of the outer material.
