FISCHER fietsbinnenband Sclaverand-ventiel 71,10 cm (28 inch) ETRTO 20-622

FISCHER inner tube with a Sclaverand (Presta) valve, length 71.10 cm, is designed for 28" wheels and tyres with ETRTO 20-622 dimensions. The tube is intended for road and city bicycles where a narrow high‑pressure tube with a Presta valve is required. It offers an airtight fit and straightforward installation when replacing or repairing standard 28" tyres.

Advantages

The FISCHER inner tube provides a reliable air seal and is manufactured to fit ETRTO 20-622 tyres precisely. The Sclaverand (Presta) valve enables fine pressure adjustment and secure locking for high‑pressure inflation typical of road cycling. The tube’s dimensions and valve length simplify access through narrow rims and make pumping easier with standard Presta pumps and adapters.

Suitable for

• Road bicycles with 28" wheels and 20-622 tyres
• City/commuter bikes that use narrow high-pressure tubes
• Repairing punctures or replacing worn inner tubes with Presta valves
• Bikes with rims requiring a longer Presta valve for easy access

Key specifications

• Valve type: Sclaverand (Presta) valve
• Valve length: 71.10 cm (valve stem length allows easy access through rim)
• Wheel size compatibility: 28"
• Tyre size compatibility: ETRTO 20-622
• Application: road and city bicycles

How to use

Partially inflate the tube to give it shape before installing it into the tyre. Fit the tube into the tyre around the rim, ensuring the valve is properly seated through the rim hole and the valve nut or locknut (if present) is secured. Carefully push the tyre bead onto the rim, working opposite the valve last to reduce pinch risk. Fully inflate to the tyre’s recommended pressure, checking that the tyre bead sits evenly and the valve remains vertical. Recheck pressure and ensure there are no leaks before riding.

Recommendations

Use a correct Presta pump or adapter for high‑pressure inflation, and inspect the tyre for embedded debris before fitting the new tube. Maintain recommended tyre pressure for the intended riding conditions and periodically check the valve for proper seating and tightness.
