FISCHER SLM-D31USC Noodverlichting LED 1W IP20 1/3/8h Autotest opbouwmontage

The FISCHER SLM-D31USC stands out among emergency luminaires by combining a compact, surface-mounted design with selectable emergency operation durations of 1, 3, or 8 hours. Unlike fixed-duration units, this model adapts to specific escape route requirements without hardware changes. Its integrated automatic self-test (Autotest) reduces manual inspection effort, ensuring compliance with EN 60598-2-22 while maintaining a low 1 W power draw.

Highlights

• Selectable emergency duration: 1 h, 3 h, or 8 h via DIP switch
• Automatic self-test function with green LED status indicator
• Maintained or non-maintained operation, configurable on-site
• LED light source with cool white light (~6000–6500 K) for clear visibility
• Surface mounting on walls or ceilings, suitable for indoor escape route illumination
• Robust polycarbonate housing with IP20 protection

In daily use

Installation is straightforward thanks to screw terminals and a compact form factor. Once wired to 230 V AC, the luminaire automatically charges its Ni-Cd battery and performs periodic self-tests. The green LED provides a clear visual indication of charge and operational status. In the event of a power failure, the luminaire switches to emergency mode for the preselected duration, delivering sufficient luminous flux to illuminate escape paths. The selectable maintained mode allows the luminaire to serve as a permanent light source, while non-maintained mode activates it only during power outages.
