Fitting Alphacool 17446 messing zwart 38mm

The Alphacool 17446 Brass Black 38mm fitting is a precision component intended for liquid cooling loops in desktop computers. Manufactured from durable brass with a black surface finish, the 38mm dimensions provide a compact connection point that integrates with standard cooling tubing and hardware. The fitting supports stable, leak-resistant joints and is suitable for systems where reliable coolant flow and mechanical robustness are required.

Advantages

The brass construction offers good corrosion resistance and mechanical strength compared with softer materials. The black finish reduces visible reflections and complements a wide range of system aesthetics. Its 38mm size balances compactness with ease of handling during assembly, and the machined surfaces ensure consistent sealing against O-rings or compression fittings when used as part of a matching cooling loop.

Suitable for

• Custom PC liquid cooling loops (CPU and GPU cooling)
• Replacement or upgrade of existing brass fittings in water-cooling systems
• Small-form-factor builds where compact fittings are required
• Systems requiring durable metal fittings for long-term reliability

Key specifications

• Material: Brass
• Finish: Black surface coating
• Overall size: 38 mm (width/depth)
• Compatibility: Designed for standard liquid-cooling tubing and connectors
• Function: Fluid connection/fitting for closed-loop PC cooling

How to use

Install the fitting into your cooling loop following the manufacturer guidelines for tubing and sealing components. Ensure mating surfaces and O-rings are clean and free of debris before assembly. Tighten connections to the specified torque or until a secure, leak-free fit is achieved without over-tightening, which can damage threads or deform seals. After installation, perform a pressure or leak test with the system powered off and filled with coolant to confirm integrity before normal operation.

Recommendations

Use compatible tubing and sealing parts sized for the fitting. When assembling or disassembling, handle brass fittings with care to avoid cross-threading; periodic inspection for corrosion or wear is advisable in long-term installations. If using colored or additive-containing coolants, follow coolant manufacturer guidance to prevent material incompatibilities.
