Fitting-kit Alphacool 17474 — messing-chroom aansluitingen, Ø 22 mm, hoogte 20 mm

Alphacool 17474 is a fitting kit designed for custom PC liquid cooling systems. Made of brass with a chrome finish, this compact connection solution has an outer diameter of 22 mm, a height of 20 mm and a weight of 23 g. It provides corrosion-resistant interfaces for tubing and components, enabling neat and reliable joins to radiators, pumps and reservoirs in water-cooling loops.

Advantages

The brass construction ensures mechanical strength and long-term durability while the chrome surface offers enhanced corrosion protection and an easy-to-clean finish. Its compact dimensions allow close placement of components and tidy cable- and tubing-routing inside cases. The kit is lightweight and compatible with common tubing sizes used in custom loops.

Suitable for

• Connecting tubing to radiators in custom water-cooling loops
• Securing hoses at pumps and reservoirs
• Compact builds requiring low-profile fittings
• Systems where corrosion resistance and a chrome appearance are desired

Key specifications

• Material: brass with chrome finish
• Outer diameter: 22 mm
• Height: 20 mm
• Weight: 0.023 kg
• Color: chrome

How to use

Turn off and drain the cooling loop before installation. Fit the Alphacool 17474 fitting into the appropriate port on the radiator, pump or reservoir and attach tubing securely according to your system's tubing type and clamp method. Ensure seals and O-rings (if present) are seated correctly and tighten connections to a firm, not excessive, torque to avoid damaging threads or deforming soft tubing. Refill the loop, bleed air, and check for leaks during an initial test run.

Recommendations

Use with compatible tubing and appropriate clamps or compression rings. Inspect connections periodically for signs of corrosion or loosening, especially after extended operation or thermal cycling. Avoid overtightening and follow manufacturer guidance for compatible coolant types to maintain the chrome finish and brass substrate.
