Fotolijst Hama Detroit aluminium zilver 255x315 mm

The Hama Detroit Aluminium Silver single picture frame measures 255 x 315 mm and is made from durable aluminium with a sleek silver finish. Its 25 mm depth provides a contemporary profile that suits a range of interior styles. Designed for standard portrait-format images, the frame includes a clear glazing and a backing panel to hold photos securely while presenting them with a minimal, modern look.

Advantages

The aluminium construction delivers a lightweight yet rigid frame that resists warping and maintains its shape over time. The silver finish offers a neutral, metallic tone that integrates with both warm and cool colour schemes. With a 25 mm depth the frame creates a subtle shadow effect around the picture, enhancing visual focus without overwhelming the image. The design supports easy mounting on a wall or standing on a flat surface when used with compatible supports.

How to use

Remove the backing panel and place your photo or print face down onto the glazing, align it within the visible opening and replace the backing panel. Secure any built-in fasteners to hold the backing in place. For wall mounting, use the integrated hanging hardware or attach suitable hooks matched to your wall type. For tabletop display, fit compatible supports if provided or use a separate easel stand. Clean the glazing with a soft, lint-free cloth and a mild glass cleaner when needed.

Recommendations

To protect photographic prints, avoid placing the frame in direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Use archival-quality mounts or photo corners if storing valuable images behind the glazing. For textured or heavy media, confirm that the backing and frame depth provide sufficient support before permanent installation.
