Fotoprinter Kodak D460Y kleursublimatie 4 inch x 6 inch Wi-Fi

The Kodak D460Y is a compact dye-sublimation photo printer designed to produce high-quality 4" x 6" (10 x 15 cm) prints. It supports borderless printing and connects wirelessly, allowing direct printing from smartphones, tablets and computers. The printer is intended for home and small office use where quick, vibrant photo prints are needed.

Advantages

The Kodak D460Y delivers consistent color reproduction and smooth tonal transitions typical of dye-sublimation technology. Its borderless 4" x 6" output is convenient for standard photo albums and frames, and built-in Wi‑Fi simplifies printing from multiple devices without cables. The compact footprint makes it suitable for desks or small work surfaces.

Suitable for

• Printing 4" x 6" (10 x 15 cm) photos for albums and frames
• Home photo printing and hobby projects
• Small office or event photo printing where quick, handheld photos are needed

When it may not be suitable

This printer is focused on producing 4" x 6" prints and does not support larger format photo printing; users who need wide-format or poster-sized prints should consider a different device. It is optimized for photo output rather than general document printing, so it may not replace a multifunction office printer for mixed office tasks.

Key specifications

• Print technology: Dye-sublimation
• Maximum print size: 4" x 6" (10 x 15 cm), borderless
• Connectivity: Wi‑Fi for wireless printing

How to use

Install the recommended paper and ribbon consumables for dye-sublimation printing, connect the printer to your Wi‑Fi network, and install the manufacturer’s app or drivers on your device. Select the 4" x 6" borderless option in the printer settings and send photos from a smartphone, tablet or computer. Follow on-screen prompts for alignment and print count; allow prints to dry briefly before handling.

What to consider before purchase

• Print size limitation: only 4" x 6" (10 x 15 cm) outputs
• Consumables: dye-sublimation paper and matching color ribbons are required
• Primary use: dedicated photo printer rather than a full-featured document printer

Recommendations

For best results, use original or manufacturer-recommended dye-sublimation paper and ribbons, maintain the printer’s firmware and app up to date, and avoid touching the printed surface immediately after printing to prevent smudging.
