Frameloos beeldscherm-privacyfilter Mobilis 016418 35.6 cm 16:10

The MOBILIS frameless display privacy filter (model 016418) is designed for 14" monitors and laptops with a 16:10 aspect ratio. This slim, frameless filter preserves screen clarity and color accuracy while preventing side viewing; it is compatible with LCD displays and touchscreens and includes an anti-glare matt finish for improved usability.

Advantages

This frameless privacy filter blocks lateral viewing so only a user sitting directly in front of the screen can see the content, while viewers from the sides see a darkened display. It is lightweight (0.144 kg), compatible with monitors and laptops, and maintains image quality and color fidelity. The filter supports two installation methods — hanger arms for screens with a bezel and adhesive strips for bezel-free screens — and the matt anti-glare surface reduces reflections.

Suitable for

• Working on laptops in public places or on public transport
• Use in open-plan offices to protect sensitive on-screen information
• Protecting client or personal data when using monitors in shared spaces

How to use

Choose the appropriate installation method for your device: attach the hanger arms if your screen has a bezel or apply the adhesive strips for a bezel-free display. Position the frameless filter directly over the screen and ensure it sits flush to avoid gaps at the edges. For touchscreen devices, verify touch sensitivity after installation and, if needed, readjust the filter to maintain full functionality. Clean the filter surface with a microfiber cloth and manufacturer-recommended cleaner to preserve the anti-glare finish.

Recommendations

For optimal privacy and durability, check compatibility with your device’s screen size and aspect ratio before installation, follow the included mounting instructions for the chosen method, and avoid using abrasive cleaners that could damage the anti-glare coating.
