Fusielasmachine Extralink AI-9 7800mAh batterij LED-lamp LCD 5,1 inch

The Extralink AI-9 fusion splicer is a portable fiber optic splicing tool built for field technicians and installation teams. It integrates a 5.1" LCD for clear visualisation of fiber alignment and fusion results, an internal 7800mAh battery for extended operation, and an LED lamp to assist work in low-light conditions. The unit is housed in an aluminium body with compact external dimensions of 270mm (width) × 237mm (depth) × 293mm (height) and a weight of 7.1 kg, providing a balance of durability and portability for on-site splicing tasks.

Advantages

The aluminium housing offers enhanced mechanical protection and heat dissipation while keeping the device relatively lightweight for field use. The 5.1" LCD delivers a detailed view that simplifies fiber positioning and verification. A high-capacity 7800mAh battery supports longer job cycles without frequent recharging, and the integrated LED lamp improves visibility in poorly lit environments. Compact dimensions make the splicer easier to transport and store within standard technician kits.

Suitable for

• Outdoor and indoor fiber optic installation and repair
• Telecommunications network construction and maintenance
• FTTx, LAN and data centre cabling projects
• Field service operations where portability and battery operation are required

How to use

Prepare fibers by stripping, cleaning, and cleaving to the recommended lengths, then place them into the fiber holders and align using the on-screen guidance on the 5.1" LCD. Start the automatic alignment and fusion sequence according to the device menu. Monitor the fusion process on the LCD and confirm splice quality after the cycle completes. Use the LED lamp to illuminate the working area if needed. Recharge the internal battery between extended jobs or connect an external power source where supported.

Recommendations

For consistent splice results, clean fibers and cleaver blades regularly and operate the splicer on a stable, vibration-free surface. Keep the aluminium housing free from heavy impacts and store the unit in a protective case during transport. Monitor battery charge level before starting field assignments and use the LED lamp to improve visibility in dim conditions.
