The Garmin inReach Mini 2 Personal is a compact satellite communicator that keeps you connected off the grid. Designed for outdoor activities, it provides two-way messaging, location sharing, interactive SOS alerts routed to the Garmin IERCC emergency coordination centre, and connectivity via the global Iridium satellite network. The device is rugged and lightweight (about 100 g), water-rated to IPX7, and offers up to 336 hours (approximately 14 days) of battery life in default tracking mode and longer in power-saving mode. It includes a digital compass, TracBack routing to navigate back to your start point, weather forecast service, unlimited cloud storage through Garmin Explore, and compatibility with other Garmin devices and apps such as Garmin Pilot.

Advantages

The inReach Mini 2 provides reliable satellite communication where mobile coverage is unavailable, enabling text messaging, location sharing, and SOS interaction with a 24/7 staffed response centre. Its small size and light weight make it easy to carry without adding bulk, while MIL-STD-810 impact resistance and IPX7 water rating ensure durability in challenging conditions. Flexible subscription plans let you choose annual or month-to-month airtime, and integrated services such as weather forecasts, cloud trip planning, and synchronization with Garmin Explore simplify trip management.
