Garmin Tacx NEO Motion platen

Unlike fixed trainers that lock your bike in place, the Garmin Tacx NEO Motion Plates allow multi-directional movement—front-to-back and side-to-side—so your body naturally engages as it would on the road. Built specifically for the Tacx NEO 2 and NEO 2T smart trainers, they add approximately 50 mm of height while maintaining rock-solid stability. The low-profile design integrates seamlessly, and the magnetic attachment system makes installation effortless. Whether you're grinding out intervals or recovering with an easy spin, the subtle motion reduces pressure points and keeps you comfortable longer.

Highlights

• Multi-directional movement: front-to-back and side-to-side for realistic outdoor feel
• Compatible with Tacx NEO 2 and NEO 2T smart trainers
• Easy magnetic attachment—no tools required
• Adds approx. 50 mm (2 inches) of height to match bike fit
• Durable composite construction in black
• Includes front plate, rear plate, and central pivot mechanism
• Passive accessory—no power or connectivity needed

In daily use

Clip into your Tacx NEO trainer, start pedalling, and feel the difference immediately. The plates allow your bike to rock gently with each pedal stroke, mimicking the natural sway of outdoor riding. This reduces strain on your sit bones and lower back during long sessions. The added height is often a welcome adjustment for riders who find the standard trainer too low. Because the motion is passive and mechanical, there are no batteries to charge or apps to sync—just pure, uninterrupted riding.
