eSTUFF GLBB14301188 frameloos privacyscherm 35,6 cm 14 inch

The Gearlab eSTUFF GLBB14301188 frameless display privacy filter is made for 14-inch laptops with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It provides a clear view for the user while preventing side-angle viewing, reduces glare with a matte finish option, and helps protect the screen surface from scratches. The filter is lightweight (0.09 kg) and designed for LCD displays, offering easy installation and compatibility with touch-capable screens where fingers can slide and swipe smoothly.

Advantages

The frameless design keeps the display edge unobstructed and reduces bulk while delivering privacy protection. The filter combines a glossy option for vibrant colours and a matte/anti-glare surface to reduce reflections. It also adds a protective layer over the screen glass to guard against scratches and minor damage without affecting touch responsiveness.

Suitable for

• Laptops with 14" screens and 16:10 aspect ratio
• Business travel and public transport use
• Open-plan offices and shared workspaces
• Touchscreen laptops where smudge resistance and swipe functionality are needed

How to use

Clean the laptop screen to remove dust and fingerprints before fitting the privacy filter. Align the frameless filter with the top edge of the display and attach it according to the included mounting method (adhesive tabs or slide-in system as supplied). Ensure the filter sits flush with the screen so touch gestures remain responsive and the view is clear when viewed straight on. Remove the filter following the manufacturer's instructions when cleaning the screen or when privacy protection is not required.

Recommendations

For optimal privacy performance, use the filter at typical viewing distance and angle; people positioned more than 30 degrees off-center will see a darkened or obscured display. Regularly clean the filter surface with a soft, lint-free cloth and a screen-safe cleaner. Store the filter flat or in its protective sleeve when not in use to avoid bending or scratches.
