Voeding Fornax Power 750W

The Fornax Power 750W power supply from GEMBIRD delivers a stable 750 watts of continuous power for desktop systems. Certified 80+ Bronze, this PSU combines energy efficiency with active power factor correction (PFC) to reduce electrical waste and ensure steady voltage delivery. A 120mm cooling fan maintains safe operating temperatures while keeping acoustic levels moderate, making the unit suitable for sustained loads in gaming rigs and professional workstations.

Advantages

This power supply provides a balanced combination of efficiency, cooling and reliability. The 80+ Bronze certification indicates improved conversion efficiency under typical loads, helping lower power draw and heat generation. Active PFC improves power stability and compatibility with varying mains voltages. The integrated 120mm fan supports effective thermal management, and a 750W total output accommodates multi-component systems without compromising performance.

Suitable for

• Gaming desktops with mid to high-range graphics cards
• Workstations for content creation and 3D rendering
• Home servers and multitasking office PCs
• Systems requiring reliable continuous power under sustained load

Key specifications

• Total output power: 750 W
• Efficiency certification: 80+ Bronze
• Power factor: Active PFC included
• Cooling: 120 mm fan
• Form factor: Standard ATX-compatible design
• Protection functions: Over-current, over-voltage and short-circuit protection (implemented at unit level)

How to use

Install the power supply into a compatible ATX case following the case and motherboard manufacturer instructions. Secure the unit with the mounting screws provided by your chassis manufacturer, connect the 24-pin motherboard connector, CPU power connector, and the required PCIe, SATA and peripheral cables to your components. Verify all connectors are firmly seated and cable routing does not obstruct fans. After installation, connect the PSU to a grounded mains outlet and power on the system to confirm stable operation and proper fan function.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, ensure adequate case airflow and avoid running the system continuously at maximum rated wattage. Use surge protection or an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) in environments with unstable mains voltage. Periodically check and clean dust from the 120mm fan and ventilation openings to maintain cooling efficiency.
