Gereedschapskist Stanley 1-79-217

The Stanley 1-79-217 small parts/tool box combines compact dimensions with a durable black-and-yellow shell to store and protect hand tools and small components. Measuring 486 mm wide, 266 mm deep and 236 mm high, the toolbox provides a practical internal volume while remaining easy to carry and stow in a workshop, vehicle or storage shelf. The construction uses robust materials and a secure latch to keep contents stable during transport.

Advantages

The toolbox offers a balance of capacity and portability, allowing a variety of tools and small parts to be organized without occupying excessive space. The rigid exterior resists impacts and everyday wear, while the color contrast improves visibility in busy work areas. A reliable fastening mechanism ensures the lid stays closed during movement and the form factor supports stacking or placement alongside other storage units.

Suitable for

• Storage of hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers and wrenches
• Organization of fasteners, spare parts and fittings
• Use in workshops, service vehicles and home garages
• Transport of tools between job sites or locations

Key specifications

• External dimensions: 486 mm (width) × 266 mm (depth) × 236 mm (height)
• Color: black and yellow
• Construction: rigid shell designed for everyday workshop use
• Closure: secure latch to retain contents during transport
• Capacity: suitable for small tools and parts; compact footprint for easy storage

How to use

Place tools and small components inside the main compartment and arrange them to avoid excessive movement; use internal dividers or small containers if needed to separate screws, bolts and small fittings. Close the lid firmly until the latch engages to secure contents during handling. For transport, carry the toolbox by its handle and avoid overloading beyond its intended type of items to prevent strain on the closure and handle.

Recommendations

Store the toolbox in a dry environment to reduce corrosion risk for metal tools. Periodically inspect the latch and handle for wear, and clean the exterior with a damp cloth to remove dirt and dust. When stacking multiple units, ensure they are aligned and supported on a stable surface to prevent tipping.
