Gevlochten slang DeLOCK 18909 5 m x 13 mm zwart

DeLOCK Braided Sleeving 5 m x 13 mm in black is a self-closing cable sleeve designed to organize and protect wiring bundles. The sleeve is 5 meters long with an expanded diameter of approximately 13 mm, allowing several cables to be grouped together and protected from abrasion, light mechanical stress and tangling while maintaining a tidy appearance.

Advantages

The braided construction provides flexible protection that conforms to cable shapes and bends, while the self-closing design eliminates the need for additional fasteners or heat-shrink during installation. The black colour offers a low-profile, professional look and helps conceal cables in a variety of environments. Durable material resists fraying and extends the service life of the contained cables.

Suitable for

• Bundling power cords, USB cables and audio/video leads
• Tidying cables behind desks, entertainment centres and server racks
• Protecting wiring in vehicle interiors and workshop equipment
• Temporary or permanent cable management in home and office setups

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Approximate expanded diameter: 13 mm (1.3 cm)
• Colour: black
• Construction: braided, self-closing sleeving
• Flexibility: suitable for routing through bends and tight spaces

How to use

Measure the required length and cut the sleeving with sharp scissors to obtain a clean edge. Insert cables into the open braided structure by feeding them through the sleeve or by wrapping the sleeving around existing cable bundles; the self-closing braid will close around the cables to hold them in place. For neat termination, fold the sleeving end inward or secure it with a small cable tie if additional retention is desired. Avoid sharp cutting that may leave loose threads; sealing the cut edge with a light application of heat is optional depending on material compatibility.

Recommendations

Use the sleeving where flexible, reusable protection is preferred. For high-temperature environments or where abrasion resistance must meet specific standards, verify material suitability before prolonged use. Keep the sleeving away from open flames and strong chemical exposure to maintain performance and appearance.
