Glasvezel-AOC-kabel BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-PS-BO — 25 m, SFP28 stekker–stekker, aqua

The BlueOptics SFP28-AOC-25M-PS-BO is a 25 m active optical cable (AOC) with SFP28 male connectors on both ends and an aqua-coloured jacket. It is designed for short-reach, high-speed links using SFP28 ports and supports multi-mode fiber transmission for up to 25 Gbit/s. The cable is lightweight (approximately 0.15 kg) and intended for direct interconnects between servers, switches and other data center equipment that accept SFP28 AOC connections.

Advantages

This active optical cable delivers low-latency, high-bandwidth connectivity over a 25 m distance without the need for separate transceivers or patch cords. Because the cable uses optical transmission, it is immune to electromagnetic interference and enables stable data transfer in dense rack and data centre environments. The pre-terminated SFP28-to-SFP28 assembly simplifies installation and reduces potential points of attenuation compared with patched fiber assemblies.

Suitable for

• Server-to-switch direct connections in data centres
• Switch-to-switch short-reach uplinks
• High-speed storage and SAN fabrics using SFP28 ports
• Environments where EMI immunity and reduced latency are required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 25 m
• Connector type: SFP28 male to SFP28 male
• Nominal data rate: up to 25 Gbit/s
• Fiber type: multi-mode optical transmission (active optical cable)
• Outer colour: aqua
• Weight: approx. 0.15 kg

How to use

Insert each SFP28 connector into the corresponding SFP28 port on your devices until the module latches. Ensure both devices support SFP28 AOC modules and any required digital diagnostic (DDM/DOM) functions if remote monitoring is needed. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius specified by your data centre cabling practices. No field termination or patching is required; use the cable as a direct plug-and-play link between SFP28 ports.

Recommendations

Verify compatibility with your hardware vendor and enable any required port configuration for 25G operation before deployment. Avoid tight cable bundling and excessive bend radii; store and handle the cable according to standard optical cabling guidelines to maintain long-term performance.
