Glasvezeladapter LC Black Box FOT123 multimode blauw

The Black Box FOT123 is an LC-LC multi-mode fibre optic adapter designed for panel-mount applications. It provides a simple and durable way to join multimode fibres using bronze alignment sleeves and is available in blue. The adapter is intended for reliable connectivity in data centres, telecommunications and other networking setups where multimode links are used.

Advantages

The panel-mount design allows secure installation in patch panels and enclosures. Bronze alignment sleeves offer robustness and long-term durability for multimode fibre connections where ultra-precise alignment is not required. The LC-LC interface provides compact duplex connectivity compatible with standard LC connectors.

Suitable for

• Multimode fibre links in data centres
• Telecommunications racks and patch panels
• Local area network (LAN) infrastructure
• General multimode fibre splicing and testing

How to use

Ensure connectors are clean before mating to maintain optimal signal performance. For demating, press the LC connector latch and gently withdraw the connector.

Recommendations

Use with multimode fibres and standard LC connectors; clean connector endfaces with appropriate fibre cleaning tools before connection. Avoid forcing connectors and ensure panel cutouts match the adapter for secure mounting. Bronze sleeves are suitable for multimode applications where exacting alignment requirements are not critical.
