glasvezelkabel BlueOptics CAB-OM3-LC-LC-30M-BO 2x LC LC/UPC OM3 30m aqua

The BlueOptics CAB-OM3-LC-LC-30M-BO is a 30-metre multimode fibre optic cable engineered for high-speed, reliable data transmission in structured networks. It uses OM3 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and duplex LC to LC connectors terminated with LC/UPC polishing, providing consistent optical performance for short- to medium-distance links. The cable’s aqua jacket identifies it as OM3 grade and supports applications that require low insertion loss and stable signal integrity.

Advantages

This OM3 cable offers low attenuation and good bandwidth for 10 Gb/s and other multimode applications, with compact LC duplex connectors that simplify rack and patch panel installations. The 30 m length balances reach and manageability, reducing the need for additional splices or intermediate patching. Standardized connector polishing and precise fibre alignment help maintain repeatable link performance and simplify certification and testing.

How to use

Route the cable along existing cable trays or through cable management channels avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC adaptor or equipment port until it clicks, ensuring correct polarity for duplex connections. Secure excess length with gentle loops and use appropriate bend-radius supports to prevent microbends. Test the installed link with an optical power meter or certification tester to verify insertion loss and continuity.

Recommendations

Avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius specified by multimode fibre guidelines, keep connectors capped when not in use to prevent contamination, and use alcohol wipes or approved cleaning tools for connector endfaces before mating to ensure reliable optical performance.
