Glasvezelkabel BlueOptics CBL-NTWK-0892-OPF300L-BO MPO OM3 30 m cyaan

The BlueOptics CBL-NTWK-0892-OPF300L-BO MPO OM3 30 m Cyan is a 30 metre multimode fibre optic cable designed for high-speed InfiniBand and other optical networking applications. It features MPO connectors on both ends and is manufactured to meet OM3 multimode standards, providing low-loss, high-bandwidth short-range links. The cyan sheath offers a standard industry colour for easy identification in data centre and structured cabling environments.

Advantages

This MPO OM3 cable provides reliable optical transmission over a 30 m distance with consistent multimode performance and low insertion loss. Its pre-terminated MPO connectors simplify installation by eliminating field termination and reducing setup time. The OM3 specification supports high data rates and is suitable for dense parallel optical interfaces used in InfiniBand or Ethernet short-reach links.

How to use

Install the BlueOptics MPO OM3 cable by aligning and seating the MPO connectors into compatible MPO/MTP ports on switches, servers or optical transceivers. Ensure both ends are clean and free of dust before mating; use appropriate fibre cleaning tools or wipes. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, tension, or crushing, respecting the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. After installation, verify link integrity and performance using appropriate diagnostic tools or link status indicators on connected hardware.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, clean connector endfaces before connection, avoid tight bend radii and secure the cable to prevent mechanical stress. Use this OM3 MPO cable for short-reach, high-density deployments and confirm MPO port pinning and polarity match between connected devices to ensure correct channel mapping.
