Glasvezelkabel BlueOptics CBL-NTWK-0892-OPF30L-BO MPO OM3 3 m cyaan

The BlueOptics CBL-NTWK-0892-OPF30L-BO MPO OM3 3 m Cyan is a 3-meter multimode fibre optic cable with MPO connectors on both ends, built using OM3 grade fiber. Designed for short-reach high-bandwidth environments, this cyan-coloured cable provides a pre-terminated, factory-tested optical link suitable for data centre and high-performance computing topologies where low latency and reliable multi-channel transmission are required.

Advantages

This MPO OM3 cable offers a compact multi-fibre connection that reduces rack cabling complexity and eliminates the need for field termination. OM3 multimode fibre supports high aggregate bandwidth for parallel optics and common InfiniBand and Ethernet deployments. The pre-assembled MPO to MPO construction delivers consistent optical performance and simplified installation compared with individual simplex or duplex patching.

How to use

Install the MPO connectors directly into compatible MPO ports on switches, switches’ fanout panels, transceivers or patch panels. Ensure both ends are aligned to the correct port orientation and that mating adapters, cages or guide pins (if required by your equipment) are used. Before connecting, inspect connector endfaces and clean if necessary using appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for OM3 multimode cable.

Recommendations

For stable long-term performance, use the cable in environments that meet standard data centre temperature and humidity ranges, avoid excessive bending or kinking, and pair the MPO OM3 link with compatible MPO-enabled equipment. Verify connector cleanliness and port compatibility before commissioning and, where possible, test the link with appropriate optical test equipment to confirm insertion loss and channel continuity.
