Glasvezelkabel BlueOptics FCKAB-OM4-C10-L-BO LC LC/UPC OM4 10 m paars

The BlueOptics FCKAB-OM4-C10-L-BO LC/LC OM4 fibre optic cable is a 10-metre multimode patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling systems. It features LC connectors with UPC polish on both ends and a 50 µm core diameter optimized for OM4 performance. The cable's violet jacket provides visual identification in dense cable environments and complies with typical installation requirements for indoor network links.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable provides low insertion loss and stable signal transmission suitable for high-bandwidth applications. The LC/UPC terminations deliver consistent connector performance and easy mating with standard LC ports. The 10 m length covers mid-range interconnects without additional splicing, and the violet jacket simplifies organization and fault finding in patch panels and fibre trays.

How to use

Route the cable through cable management pathways and panels, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tension. Insert the LC connectors into compatible LC ports until they click into place, ensuring clean endfaces to reduce insertion loss. For removal, depress the connector latch and withdraw the connector straight out. Use dust caps when connectors are not mated to protect ferrules and maintain performance.

Recommendations

For best results, inspect and clean connector endfaces with suitable fibre cleaning tools before installation, maintain bend radius above manufacturer minimums, and store spare lengths coiled without tight loops. Use this OM4 cable for multimode links up to the distance supported by OM4 specifications for your chosen transceivers.
