Glasvezelkabel BlueOptics NM7902QD116003M-BO SN LC OM4 3 m zwart roze wit

The BlueOptics NM7902QD116003M-BO is a 3 m multimode fibre optic cable engineered for InfiniBand and high-speed network connections. Constructed with OM4 fibre and a 50 µm core diameter, this cable supports high data throughput with low attenuation over short to medium distances. It is fitted with SN and LC connectors for reliable terminations and is available in Black, Pink and White to suit different installation environments.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode fibre provides increased bandwidth and improved performance compared with lower-grade multimode fibres, making the cable suitable for demanding data centre and HPC applications. The 3 m length offers flexible placement between network equipment without excessive slack. SN to LC termination ensures compatibility with a broad range of InfiniBand transceivers and optical ports. Multiple colour options help with visual identification and cable management in dense racks or mixed-cable installations.

How to use

Inspect connectors and ports for dust or damage before making a connection. Align and insert the SN and LC connectors into the corresponding InfiniBand or optical ports until they click or seat firmly. Avoid excessive bending of the cable; maintain the manufacturer’s minimum bend radius for OM4 multimode fibre to preserve signal integrity. When disconnecting, pull by the connector body rather than the fibre jacket to prevent strain on the terminations.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this OM4 cable in environments with compatible transceivers and switches rated for multimode operation. Keep connector endfaces clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools and store unused cables coiled without tight loops. Choose the cable colour that best supports your rack labelling and cable management practices.
