Glasvezelkabel BlueOptics NM7902QD11607.5M-BO SN LC OM4 7,5 m zwart roze wit

The BlueOptics NM7902QD11607.5M-BO is a 7.5 m fibre optic cable designed for InfiniBand environments and high-speed data links. It uses OM4 multimode fibre with a 50 µm core diameter and is terminated with SN and LC connectors to support standard networking equipment. The cable is offered in multiple sheath colours — black, pink and white — to suit installation and cable-management needs.

Advantages

This OM4 fibre cable provides low attenuation and high bandwidth capacity suitable for short- to medium-range high-speed links. The 50 µm core supports common multimode transceivers and ensures reliable signal integrity in InfiniBand and other data centre applications. Available colour options simplify identification and routing in structured cabling installations.

How to use

Connect the SN and LC terminated ends to the appropriate transceivers or adapter panels, ensuring connectors are clean and undamaged before insertion. Route the cable following standard cable-management practices to avoid tight bends; maintain the recommended minimum bend radius for multimode fibre. Verify link status on connected devices and perform optical testing when commissioning to confirm insertion loss and signal performance.

Recommendations

Use dust caps during storage and handle connectors by the boot to avoid contaminating the ferrule. For best performance in InfiniBand and data-centre applications, keep cable runs within the OM4 multimode distance guidelines for the transceivers in use and avoid excessive bending or tension.
