Glasvezelkabel Garbot FO-kabel Garbot OM3 50/125 B-01-10003 — multimode OM3 50/125 µm

Garbot FO Cable Garbot OM3 50/125 B-01-10003 is a multimode fiber optic cable with a 50/125 µm core/cladding geometry built to support laser-optimized OM3 performance. It is intended for high-speed short- to medium-range data transmission and is suitable for structured cabling, patching and interconnect applications in Ethernet networks, SAN links and data center environments where multimode OM3 fiber is required.

Advantages

The OM3 multimode design provides enhanced bandwidth for VCSEL-based laser transmission, enabling reliable high-speed connections over short and medium distances. The 50/125 µm core/cladding geometry is compatible with standard multimode equipment and simplifies installation in existing multimode infrastructures. The cable is suitable for common cabling tasks such as patching, horizontal distribution and equipment interconnects in rack and cabinet environments.

Suitable for

• Data center interconnects and rack-to-rack cabling
• Ethernet networks using multimode fiber (short- to medium-range)
• Storage Area Network (SAN) links
• Structured building cabling and horizontal runs
• Patching panels, trunking and equipment cross-connections

Key specifications

• Fiber type: Multimode OM3
• Core/cladding diameter: 50/125 µm
• Optimized for: Laser (VCSEL) transmission
• Primary use: Short- to medium-range high-speed data transmission
• Typical applications: Ethernet, SAN and data center interconnects

How to use

Install the Garbot OM3 fiber cable following standard fiber handling and termination practices. Route the cable through racks, trays or conduits avoiding tight bends and excessive tensile loads. Terminate or connect the cable to compatible multimode ports, patch panels or transceivers specified for OM3/50 µm fiber. Test end-to-end links with appropriate multimode fiber test equipment to verify insertion loss and optical performance before placing the connection into service.

Recommendations

Handle the fiber cable with care: maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for multimode fiber, use proper strain relief at terminations, and ensure connectors and transceivers are compatible with OM3 50/125 µm multimode fiber to achieve expected performance in Ethernet, SAN and data center applications.
