Glasvezelkabel ROLINE 21158613 5 m 2x LC OM4 violet

ROLINE 21158613 is a 5 m fibre optic cable with OM4 performance and duplex 2x LC connectors. The cable supports high-speed data transmission for networking environments and data centers; its violet jacket denotes the OM4 grade for enhanced bandwidth and extended reach compared with lower OM types.

Advantages

The OM4 multimode fibre and 50 µm core diameter provide improved modal bandwidth for demanding short- to mid-range links. Duplex 2x LC connectors enable full-duplex communication in a compact form factor. A 5 m length offers flexibility for rack-to-rack or patch-panel connections while maintaining standardized connector types for broad compatibility.

Suitable for

• Data center patching and intra-rack connections
• High-speed Ethernet links (e.g., 10G/40G/100G multimode applications)
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch short- to mid-range connections

How to use

Connect each LC duplex plug to the corresponding LC ports on network devices or patch panels, observing transmit/receive orientation for full-duplex operation. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress; secure with appropriate cable management accessories. Verify link status and data rates after installation to ensure correct performance.

Recommendations

For optimal results, use this OM4 2x LC cable for short- to mid-range multimode installations within racks and patch fields; avoid exceeding manufacturer bend-radius limits and inspect connectors for dust before mating.
