Glasvezelkabel ShiverPeaks 77923/3 3m SC turquoise

The ShiverPeaks 77923/3 3m SC Turquoise fibre optic cable is an OM3 multimode link designed for high-speed, full duplex data transmission. With a 50 µm core diameter and SC connectors on both ends, this 3-metre cable provides consistent optical performance for short- to medium-range interconnections in structured cabling and equipment racks. The turquoise jacket color helps distinguish this OM3 cable from other fibre types during installation and maintenance.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre offers low attenuation and stable modal bandwidth for reliable signal integrity in high-density installations. The SC push-pull connectors deliver a secure, easy-to-operate connection that reduces handling time. The 3 m length is convenient for linking adjacent racks, switches, or patch panels without excess slack, and the turquoise color simplifies visual identification among mixed-cable environments.

Suitable for

• Short- to medium-range data centre links and intra-rack connections
• Patch panel to switch or server connections in enterprise networks
• High-bandwidth multimode applications such as 10 Gigabit Ethernet over multimode fibre

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector type: SC to SC, duplex/full duplex
• Length: 3 metres
• Jacket color: turquoise

How to use

Route the cable along designated cable trays or management paths to minimise bends and stress on the fibre. Align SC connectors with their mating adapters and insert until the push-pull latch engages; ensure both ends are firmly seated. Avoid tight bending radii and excessive tension during installation. After connecting, verify optical link integrity with appropriate testing equipment and secure excess length to prevent movement.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dry, dust-free environment. Clean connector endfaces before mating, and avoid kinking the cable. Use this OM3 fibre for multimode networking applications within data centres, LAN backbones, and equipment racks where a 3 m SC duplex link is required.
