Glasvezelkabel ShiverPeaks 77925/3 5m SC turquoise

The ShiverPeaks 77925/3 5m SC Turquoise is an OM3 multimode fibre optic patch cable designed for reliable, high-speed data transmission in structured cabling and network interconnects. With a 50 µm core diameter and SC connectors on both ends, this 5-metre cable supports full duplex communication and is color-coded turquoise for easy identification within racks and cable bundles.

Advantages

This OM3 fibre cable provides low attenuation and consistent modal bandwidth for short- to medium-distance links in data centres and enterprise networks. The SC-to-SC termination ensures secure, push-pull mating with compatible transceivers and adapters. The turquoise jacket improves visual management of fibre runs and simplifies maintenance and troubleshooting.

Suitable for

• Data centre patching between switches and fibre panels
• Server-to-switch connections in enterprise LANs
• High-speed backbone links in campus networks
• Fiber channel and storage area network (SAN) interconnects requiring multimode OM3

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM3 multimode (50 µm core)
• Length: 5 metres
• Connector type: SC to SC (both ends)
• Duplex: Full duplex
• Jacket colour: Turquoise
• Typical use: Short- to medium-distance high-speed links

How to use

Install the ShiverPeaks OM3 cable by aligning the SC connectors with the corresponding SC ports on switches, transceivers, or patch panels and firmly inserting until the connector clicks. Ensure bend radius limits are observed during routing to avoid excess stress on the fibre. For best performance, keep connectors clean and use dust caps when the cable is not connected. Verify link operation after installation using appropriate fibre test equipment or network diagnostics.

Recommendations

Use this OM3 50 µm fibre for multimode links where 10GbE and similar high-speed standards are required over short to medium distances. Maintain connector cleanliness, avoid tight bends, and store spare cables coiled without kinks to preserve signal quality and cable longevity.
