Glasvezelkabel ShiverPeaks BS07-530315 2m LC SC groen

The ShiverPeaks BS07-530315 is a 2 meter OM5 fibre optic cable with LC and SC connectors designed for broadband networks and data centre links. It features a 50 µm core diameter and supports full duplex communication, enabling simultaneous two-way data transmission. The cable's OM5 multimode specification provides improved performance for short- to medium-distance high-speed applications and is compatible with standard LC and SC ports used in networking equipment.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable delivers low insertion loss and stable optical performance across the multimode bandwidth. Its LC connector on one end and SC connector on the other enable flexible connectivity between devices with different port types. The 2 m length offers a practical reach for rack-to-rack or equipment-to-equipment connections while the OM5 core supports enhanced modal bandwidth for modern high-data-rate links.

Suitable for

• Data centre interconnects and patch panels
• Server-to-switch and switch-to-switch links
• High-speed LAN backbones and enterprise networks
• Telecommunications equipment and network testing

Key specifications

• Cable type: Multimode OM5 fibre
• Length: 2 m
• Core diameter: 50 µm
• Connector A: LC (single connector)
• Connector B: SC (single connector)
• Transmission: Full duplex
• Colour: Green

How to use

Align the LC connector with the LC port and the SC connector with the SC port on your networking equipment, ensuring connectors are clean and dust-free before insertion. Insert each connector straight into the respective port until it clicks or seats firmly; avoid bending the fibre sharply and maintain the manufacturer's recommended minimum bend radius. For removal, depress any latch mechanism on the connector and pull straight out to prevent damage to the ferrule or port. Use appropriate cable management to avoid strain on connectors and maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

Clean connectors with approved fibre cleaning tools before each connection, avoid exposure to sharp bends and tension, and store the cable in a dust-free environment when not in use. Use the 2 m length for short link distances within racks or between adjacent racks to minimize excess slack and maintain optimal signal performance.
