Goobay 39038 Ethernet-netwerkkaart 1000 Mbit/s USB bekabeld

The Goobay 39038 Ethernet Network Card 1000 Mbit/s USB Wired provides a USB-to-Ethernet connection for PCs and Macs, delivering up to 1000 Mbit/s data transfer and drawing power directly from the USB port. It is intended for devices that lack a built-in Ethernet port and requires a USB host interface for operation.

Advantages

The adapter supports Gigabit Ethernet speeds (1000 Mbit/s) over a wired IEEE 802.3 connection and uses the USB interface for both data and power, offering a compact, black design with a lightweight construction (0.026 kg). It is compatible with standard Ethernet infrastructure and provides a stable wired network alternative to wireless connections.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting laptops or desktops without an Ethernet port to a wired network
• Setting up reliable wired internet access for streaming, large file transfers, or video conferencing
• Temporary network connection for troubleshooting or configuring network equipment

Once recognized, configure network settings via the operating system network control panel if static IP settings are required.

Recommendations

Use a high-quality Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cable for best Gigabit performance and connect to a Gigabit-capable router or switch to achieve the full 1000 Mbit/s speed. Avoid using USB hubs that do not support full data throughput; connect directly to a USB port on the host device.
