Gordijn-bewegingsmelder Ajax MotionProtect Curtain 38196.36.BL1 zwart voor binnen

Ajax MotionProtect Curtain 38196.36.BL1 black indoor is a curtain-style indoor motion detector designed to provide focused, directional detection along windows, doors and narrow passageways. The device creates a vertical sensing curtain that helps protect entry points and corridors while reducing false alarms caused by general movement in a room. It integrates with Ajax security systems to deliver targeted perimeter coverage for domestic and commercial interiors.

Advantages

The curtain design offers a narrow detection pattern that concentrates on a vertical strip, allowing precise monitoring of windows, doorways and hallways. Compact black housing blends with dark interiors and fixtures, while compatibility with Ajax systems enables centralized alarm reporting and zone configuration. The detector’s directional sensing minimizes false positives from pets or general room activity outside the monitored strip.

Suitable for

• Protecting windows and glass doors from indoor intrusion
• Monitoring narrow corridors, stair landings and entryways
• Securing display cases or aisles in retail environments
• Adding focused coverage near vulnerable perimeter points

Key specifications

• Detection type: curtain / directional motion sensing for vertical strips
• Mounting location: indoor use
• Housing color: black
• Integration: compatible with Ajax security systems for centralized monitoring
• Primary function: perimeter and narrow-zone motion detection

How to use

Install the detector at the recommended height and orientation so the sensing curtain covers the vertical strip to be protected. Configure the device within the Ajax control app or management interface, assign it to the appropriate security group or room, and set sensitivity and alert parameters according to the environment. Test the coverage after installation by walking through the protected strip to confirm reliable detection and adjust aim or position if necessary.

Recommendations

Position the detector so its sensing field directly faces the protected opening and avoid mounting where large heat sources or direct sunlight may cross the detection curtain. For best results, combine with other Ajax detectors to create layered security: use curtain detectors for specific perimeter lines and general motion detectors for broader room coverage.
